في اقباله على القرآن حتى يسهل عليه ويجد فيه أنسه وانشراحه ولذة قربه من الله!
قال الإمام ابن حجر رحمه الله " الذي يداوم على تلاوة القرآن يذل له لسانه، وتسهل عليه قراءته، فإذا هجره ثقلت عليه القراءة، وشقت ".
